Dear Knitters,
I share your love of knitting. My preference is to use wooden knitting needles as the yarn slides off the needle smoothly, not grabby like plastic, or too slickly like metal. Wooden needles have a wonderful, mellow click and warm feel. They only get better with age as the oils from the users hands give them a personal patina. In my search for wooden needles, I found the selection scant and boring so I started making my own out of exotic and domestic hardwoods. They were in such a demand by my circle of knitting buddies that I decided to offer my needles to other knitting enthusiasts like you.
The hardwood used to make WinterRose knitting needles is fine grained and selected for its beauty in color and pattern. Each needle is hand sanded, and finished with orange oil and bees wax. The clay roses are sculpted one by one on every needle making each unique. The needles are left in their natural color and the rose compliments and brings out the best in each hardwood. Diameters are standard knitting sizes.

WinterRose Needles make a great gift!
